is an anime adaptation of a manga supervised by Professor Frederik Cryns of the International Research Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken). This work focuses on the dramatic final days of Hosokawa Gracia, a prominent Christian member of the warrior class in sixteenth-century Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anime presents an original story inspired by the memoirs of Shimo, Gracia&#8217;s lady-in-waiting who witnesses her mistress&#8217;s last moments. The narrative aims to bring historical events to life through a personal perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meticulous attention has been paid to historical accuracy, with both the artwork and dialogue based on extensive research of period documents.
